Service and Philanthropy

The Fortitude Foundation is committed to investing in and building our community, changing lives, and making a positive impact through philanthropy and service.

Below are a few current and previous partnerships where we are honored to serve and collaborate to make a meaningful difference in our community:

AARP and the Montgomery Area Food Bank

In partnership with AARP, we host a free Shredding event at Eastdale Mall in Montgomery, AL. Hosting the shredding event was critical to local families’ social and economic well-being. Paper shredding is an important part of protecting one’s family, just as much as locking the front door at night. Shredding helps to protect credit and privacy. Shredding helps to avoid identity theft and helps to protect sensitive data that may cost an individual their livelihood. Canned goods and monetary donations were also collected to support the Montgomery Area Food Bank.

Baptist Health and the Essie M.B. Smith Foot Clinic

The Fortitude Foundation partnered with the Essie M.B. Smith Foot Clinic to provide much-needed meals to essential healthcare professionals during a COVID-19 vaccine clinic. Feeding these frontline doctors, nurses, and other health professionals was a major during the unprecedented time of COVID.

Central Alabama Alliance Resource & Advocacy Center

The Fortitude Foundation partners with the Central Alabama Alliance Resource & Advocacy Center to support their mission and service to educate, advocate, and host grassroots programs related to chronic health disparities (HCV, HBP, Diabetes) and HIV.

The Friendship Mission

The Fortitude Foundation partners with The Friendship Mission to provide funding to support critical needs of unhoused people in the community who are unhoused and experiencing food insecurity. Do you have a project or program that needs support? We welcome the opportunity to talk. Please contact us to discuss partnership opportunities.
